Princeton Environmental Institute Places Second in Global Climate Think Tank Ranking

Princeton Environmental Institute Ranks #2 in Global Climate Think Tank RankingThe Princeton Environmental Institute has been ranked number two in a standardized global ranking by the International Center for Climate Governance (ICCG). In the ICCG’s 2012 Climate Think Tank Ranking Report, PEI is cited as the second most influential institution outside of Europe working in the field of climate change economics and policy.

This was the first climate think tank ranking by the ICCG, a research center based in Italy that focuses on the design of climate policy and governance. In the analysis, the ICCG assessed 61 think tanks on a set of 5 indicators: events, authors in Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reports, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change submissions, articles in peer-reviewed journals, and non-peer reviewed publications. Accounted for in this analysis is per capita productivity for each think tank based on the number of researchers.
