Environmental Perspectives on Nature’s Nation
The Princeton Environmental Institute (PEI) and the Princeton University Art Museum hosted the faculty panel, “Environmental Perspectives on Nature’s Nation,” Nov. 30 at the Art Museum. PEI faculty Rob Nixon, Amilcare Porporato and David Wilcove, along with Geosciences professor emeritus George Philander, drew on their research to discuss environmental topics and issues against the backdrop of selected works from the major Art Museum exhibition, “Nature’s Nation: American Art and Environment.” The panel discussion was moderated by exhibition co-curator Karl Kusserow, the John Wilmerding Curator of American Art at the Art Museum.
