James Smith, the William and Edna Macaleer Professor of Engineering and Applied Science and PEI associated faculty, will present, “Strange Floods: The Upper Tail of Flood Peaks in the U.S.,” at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, in Guyot Hall, Room 10. Lunch will be served at noon in the Guyot Atrium. Smith is the second speaker in the Spring 2019 PEI Faculty Seminar Series.
