The workshop is organized by Marc Fleurbaey, the Robert E. Kuenne Professor in Economics and Humanistic Studies and professor of public affairs and the University Center for Human Values (UCHV), and Kian Mintz-Woo, a postdoctoral research associate in UCHV, and will focus on the latest developments on climate impacts and climate policy analysis, while also fostering discussion on the broader context of sustainable growth perspectives. The keynote speaker is Michael Greenstone, the University of Chicago’s Milton Friedman Distinguished Service Professor in Economics, the College, and the Harris School; director of the Becker Friedman Institute; and director of the Energy Policy Institute at Chicago (EPIC).
