Mellon Forum: “The Geography of the Post-Pandemic City”

The Princeton-Mellon Initiative in Architecture, Urbanism and the Humanities will host the panel discussion, “The Geography of the Post-Pandemic City.” This event will be held online via Zoom webinar — register here in advance to receive a webinar link.

This discussion will be dedicated to the pandemic’s impacts on the human geography of the city, as seen from social, economic, racial, architectural and public health perspectives. Panelists will address the impact of the social effects of epidemiology and public health policy, as well as the diverse methodologies scholars can use to study these questions.

This event is the final panel in the Fall 2020 Mellon Forum on the Urban Environment on the post-pandemic city organized by HMEI/Princeton-Mellon Fellow Dietmar Offenhuber and Anu Ramaswami, the Sanjay Swani ’87 Professor of India Studies, professor of civil and environmental engineering and the High Meadows Environmental Institute.
