Biography: Van Jones is currently at Princeton as a distinguished visiting fellow in the STEP program at the Woodrow Wilson School and the Center for African American Studies. Jones is an environmental advocate and social entrepreneur and was a primary advocate for the Green Jobs Act, which President Bush signed into law in 2007. He also served as the Obama administration’s special advisor for green jobs, enterprise and innovation from March-September 2009.
