Pradeep Tharakan, unit head of Sovereign Energy Operations for the Greater Mekong subregion at the Asian Development Bank, will present “Clean Energy Transition and a Sustained Recovery in Southeast Asia” via Zoom webinar. Register online in advance to receive a webinar link.

Tharakan focuses on global energy and environmental issues. His primary expertise is in the origination, financing and delivery of large-scale clean-energy investment programs in the public sector; the fostering of inter-governmental and public-private partnerships for effective development action; and development research. During the past decade, he has been involved in public sector energy-infrastructure projects in southeast Asia totaling $2.6 billion.

This event is part of the David Bradford Energy and Environmental Policy Seminar Series organized by the Center for Policy Research on Energy and the Environment (C-PREE) in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and co-sponsored by PEI. Tharakan’s talk also is co-sponsored by Princeton’s Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy and Finance and the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment.
