Project Title
Urban Malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa
Presentation Link
Based on the most recent Nigeria Demographic Health Survey (DHS) in 2003, bed net usage is much lower in urban areas than in rural areas. This trend is the opposite of what is found in most other malaria endemic African nations. The objective of this research project was to discover why this was the case and how this trend could be reversed.
