Steve Cosson

Artistic Director, The Civilians.

Cosson has written and directed numerous shows as the founding artistic director of The Civilians theater company. In 2009, Cosson and composer Michael Friedman — serving together as PEI Barron Visiting Professors in the Environment and the Humanities — wrote and produced, “The Great Immensity,” a musical production that explored issues of the environment and Earth’s future through themes of climate change, deforestation and extinction.
