Students interested in environmental sustainability and sustainable development may concentrate their ENV coursework on courses that address sustainability including a choice of electives offered across all four divisions of the University – humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering.
The following is a suggested sequence of courses for students who wish to focus their study on Environmental Sustainability.
- One core course: ENV 200A-F: “The Environmental Nexus”
- One advanced sustainability course: ENV 327: Investigating an Ethos of Sustainability at Princeton; or a suitable substitute.
- Three electives from the Generalist Track list; two of these three courses must be from different academic divisions and should be at the 300-level or higher.
