Climate Futures Initiative: Workshop on Climate Policy and Sustainable Growth

Princeton University's Climate Futures Initiative in Science, Values and Policy (CFI) will host the "Workshop on Climate Policy and Sustainable Growth" from 9:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. on Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18, in Robertson Hall, Bowl 16. The workshop is organized by Marc Fleurbaey, the Robert E. Kuenne Professor in Economics and Humanistic Studies and professor of public affairs and the University Center for Human Values (UCHV), and Kian Mintz-Woo, a postdoctoral research associate in UCHV, and will focus on the latest developments on climate impacts and climate policy analysis, while also fostering discussion on the broader context of sustainable growth perspectives. The keynote speaker is Michael Greenstone, the University of Chicago's Milton Friedman Distinguished Service Professor in Economics, the College, and the Harris School; director of the Becker Friedman Institute; and director of the Energy Policy Institute at Chicago (EPIC).
 
CFI is an interdisciplinary research program at Princeton, administered by the Princeton Environmental Institute (PEI) and sponsored by PEI and UCHV.
